Taiwanese Pirate Edition (1965). Very good plus with slight sunning to edges of boards and a small stain to page edges. In a very good dust jacket with some wear at the spine ends and corners. Scarce.

Taiwanese pirated edition (1969). Near-fine in a near-fine dust jacket; a very nice copy considering the quality of these editions is usually quite poor.

The Revised Edition (1970), this is the most difficult to find of the various pirated editions of Fowles’ work that came out of Taiwan in the 1960s and 1970s. Very good (small open tear at top of flyleaf, slight production error to front interior binding) in a near-fine dust jacket with slight wear at the edges.

Moscow Progress Publishers (1980). Fine in decorated boards; in English with a Russian introduction. Scarce.

Alma Littera (1998), 1st thus of the revised version in Lithuanian. Fine in decorated boards.
